What is the difference between 'classic Finnish' (letter C) and 'traditional Swedish' (letter T) axes?
Both are made of C40/45 carbon steel, hardened with polished blade. In the first case the axe head is fully polished; while in the second case the head has a rough finishing obtained after the forging stage.

Special Edition line handles
All handles in the SPECIAL EDITION collection are made of hickory wood sublimated with customised graphic printing: camouflage, carbon and briar. Sublimation acts as a protective coating on the handle and makes it easier to clean.
No impregnation/linseed oil is required on sublimated handles.
How to store our axes
We always advise our customers to store our axes with the blade protector, in a dry place and out of reach of children. The wood of the handle, being alive, changes its shape according to the climate. An environment that is too dry risks reducing its size and starting to shrink. In such cases, we recommend putting your axe in a bowl of water, especially some minutes before use. In any case, wooden and iron wedges can be added to the eye of the axe to ensure greater strength.
Does the product weight shown in the table include the handle?
The weights given in the product tables refer to the weight of the head only.
Handles between 33 and 40 cm are around a weight of 0,33 lb.
Handles between 60 and 90 cm around 1,1 lb.

The variation depends on production batches. If you have special requests, we suggest adding them in the order notes. The production department will make every effort to respond positively to your request. The coloring of different sublimation of the handles may also vary in different production batches
Do I have to register to purchase Prandi axes?
Yes, once you have added your axe/axes to the cart, you can register as a new user or log in with your nameuser and password.
Type of Payments
The accepted methods of payment are credit/debit card or Paypal.
For what concern Paypal, it is not necessary to have an account. To purchase just follow the 3 steps below:
1. Click on “PAY WITH A CARD” button
2. Enter a valid e-mail address
3. Turn off the check in the upper right corner “SAVE DATA AND CREATE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT”
In this way you can pay with your credit/debit card without a Paypal account.
How do I receive the invoice?
The invoice will be sent directly to the mail address on the registration page.
How much does shipping cost?
The shipping cost depends on the destination of the goods. During checkout (after the correct filling of the form with your shipment information), you can see in the cart the amount of shipping costs and any other additional charges (VAT).
Is it possible to enter a different shipping address?
Yes sure, it's possible to fill a different shipment address during your registration. The billing address can be different from the shipping address. When you'll place a new order, you can update all your shipment info if needed.
How fast do I get the goods?
The goods will be dispatched within a maximum of 7/10 days after receipt of payment. When the courier picks up your package, you will receive an email with the tracking number to easily follow your shipment.
Is it possible to place orders as a company?
Of course, during the registration you can choice between private account or company account. If you choose the company account, all data are necessary, including VAT number. If the user is not able to provide this information, the sale will be managed as a sale to private parties. Any additional costs for the correct issuance of the invoice, will be charged to the customer.
How do discount codes work?
If you have a discount code, you can only use it during the checkout on our website. Into your cart, before payment, enter the code in the box and click on apply. Automatically the total will be updated with the new discount.
